Mission to America Report/Ministry Update for March/April 2009

Thank you so much for your prayers and support during the past two months.  Because of your faithfulness we have had the opportunity to impact four congregations with our “Mission to America” Campaign.

The first part of March I completed a 12 week teaching on the “Holy Spirit and the Manifestations of the Holy Spirit”  (Coming Soon as a CD series to our online store) at  Glenwood Full Gospel Church in Tulsa OK.  Glenwood is a church of about 30 people.  After we completed the teaching, Rev. Floyd and Helen Lang, the pastors sent me a note saying “ You are such a blessing.  Thanks for being there when you were needed most.”  It was both my and my wife’s privilege to minister there.  Again, thank you, our partners for helping us go to small churches. 

On March 15 I ministered at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Coweta, OK.  Rev. Vernell Bell is the pastor.  Rev. Bell is a former student, and invited me to preach at his 5th anniversary service as pastor.  We ministered to a group of about 35 people during a morning service.  The Lord met us there.  People received a touch and specific words
from the Lord.  These Words were later confirmed as accurate not only by the people, but also by the pastor.  As we continue our Mission to America, God is moving.  It is my prayer that we can return to Coweta with a Mission to America Meeting. 

On April 5 I had to opportunity to fill Rev. Kelvin Limbocker’s pulpit at Faith Fellowship in Collinsville, while he was on a mission trip in the Philippines.   We had a great time around the altar after the sermon.  The Lord ministered to many folks and their needs.  Faith Fellowship is our home church and the next Sunday morning, I had several come up and express how grateful they were for the message and the body ministry they had received the week before.  I desire in the near future to bring a “Trot Thru The Bible” Seminar to Collinsville. 

In April we returned to Glenwood Full Gospel Church.  Thursday evening, April 16 we taught a Thursday night Bible study on the book of 3 John.  Ten days later (April 26) we returned on a Sunday, to present the “Trot Thru The Bible” seminar.  Half of the seminar was presented in the morning and the remainder of the seminar that evening.

In addition to this, we continue to help Dr. Ted Estes and Lifechanger Church in Claremore with their website and eblasts on a weekly basis.  We are also putting together a CD for Independent Assemblies Missionaries, which should be ready by July 13.

As we continue to work on Mission to America and schedule events in other cities, we are given ample opportunity to talk with people we encounter about the Lord, and to encourage folks to check out the 14 minute “Warp Thru the Bible” Presentation we have on our website. To be honest, and what else would you expect from us, it has taken more work and time to plan and schedule meetings than we originally thought. Keep us in prayer, as we are on a mission to bring America back to God, one person and city at a time.
